Emirates Partners with Spotify to Elevate In-Flight Entertainment
Emirates has collaborated with Spotify, an audio-streaming subscription-based service, to offer its customers an in-flight experience of a wide range of podcasts and playlists.
Spotify will offer popular playlists and podcasts in English, Portuguese, Tagalog, and German whereas Hindi and Spanish content will be introduced in 2025.
Emirates already has more than 3400 hours of music and engaging content and 140 episodes spanning business, sports, entertainment, and true crime genres.
Notable podcasts available include:
- What Now? with Trevor Noah: The comedian engages in candid conversations with celebrities and thought leaders.
- The Bill Simmons Podcast: Sports and pop culture discussions featuring guests like Tom Hanks, Adam Sandler, and Larry David.
- Case 63: An acclaimed scripted podcast known for its immersive storytelling.
- The Journal: A podcast focusing on money, business, and power, produced by Spotify and The Wall Street Journal.
Spotify is planning to expand into the automated ad services market by offering ad exchange leveraging supply-side platforms for small and medium-sized businesses.
With this partnership, Emirates and Spotify are set to transform the in-flight entertainment experience by offering personalized and diverse audio content to passengers around the globe.
