Spotify Reduced Premium Family Plan Members from 6 to 4
Spotify has reduced the number of members for its Premium Family Plan from six to four. Spotify has informed the primary account holders of the plan about the change via email. The compact also notified that no change in subscription price will be observed despite the reduced member count which remains at RM24.90.
As a new pricing feature, subscribers can add two additional slots to maintain six members for an additional cost, bringing the total price to RM40.70 per month. However, the new pricing is RM15.80 higher than the original Family Plan.
Users are showing mixed sentiments about the recent changes. It is worth noting that the updated Family Plan only applies to certain countries, such as Malaysia and Indonesia. Other neighboring countries, including Singapore, the Philippines, and Brunei, will continue to enjoy six members under one Family Plan.
