Taylor Swift Crowned Spotify’s Top Artist for 2023
Taylor Swift has taken the crown as Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2023 with an incredible 26.1 billion streams. This achievement makes her the only female artist to top the platform’s annual list in the past decade.
Swift’s record-breaking year was fueled by her Eras Tour which proved to be a global sensation. She released two re-recorded albums, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) and 1989 (Taylor’s Version), that pushed her to the top of the charts. The 1989 (Taylor’s Version) achieved the highest number of streams for an album in a single day in 2023. Swift now holds three of Spotify’s top single-day album streaming records.
